Before starting his own practice, Robert worked for the prestigious Dallas law firm, Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, PC. Robert worked in the litigation section where his primary practice was in employment law and construction matters. He also handled an array of other business law matters. He was heavily involved in many complex civil law cases as well.

Before joining Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, PC Robert spent almost 10 years as an Active Duty Air Force JAG. In his last assignment with the JAG Corp Robert was assigned as the chief prosecutor for all of Europe and the Middle East. He tried various felony cases including capital murder, drug charges, rape, arson, theft, child pornography, child assault and many other offenses. In 2007 he was recognized by the Judge Advocate General of the Air Force as one of the Air Force's top litigators.

As a JAG, Robert was also assigned to the contract litigation team where he handled residential and commercial construction litigation as well as other complex civil matters. While on the contract litigation team Robert negotiated million dollars settlements for pennies on the dollar as well as litigated many complex matters. During this time Robert came to understand the nature of business and how to advise clients to make good business decisions.

He also spent two years as a criminal defense attorney for the Air Force, where he represented Air Force members in a host of criminal matters including: drug use and trafficking, DWI, child pornography, child sexual abuse, assault, arson, fraud, and a host of other felony crimes. In 2002 Robert was recognized as one of the Air Force's best defense attorneys.

Robert has tried over 90 jury trials both criminal and civil. Throughout his 10 years of practice Robert has advised clients on family law matters, personal injury matters, landlord/tenant matters, wills and estates, contract matters, employment and labor issues and a myriad of other civil and criminal matters. Robert's unique experiences have made him a well rounded and extremely effective advocate.
